What’s old is new again.

One of our favorite things about Pieve di Teco is that the town is a hub of activity that draws in people from all over. Seemingly every weekend there’s something going on. From art fairs to cullinary festivals to vintage car rallies, there’s no shortage of fun, cultural goings on. And one of the most well-attended is the monthly antiques fair.

Every 4th Sunday of the month (weather permitting), the main street fills up with vendors’ tables packed with all kinds of cool old stuff. They set up early in the morning (we know this because our bedroom window literally overlooks the street) and soon there’s a great hustle and bustle as visitors look through blocks of old treasure.

If you’re looking for it, it’s probably there, and a deal is probably to be made. September’s fair was just yesterday and here’s a very small sampling of what you could have found if you were here.

Here’s a view right out our front door – early, before the crowds show up.
